Alpine Guides is New Zealand's longest established mountain guiding company
Starting in 1966 as 'Alpine Instruction Ltd', the main business was running instruction courses out of Ball Hut.
Alpine Guides' roots stretch back to the great guiding era of the 1880's to 1950's. The Hermitage guides of the Mt Cook area established a tradition of professional service, technical skill and sound judgment - which Alpine Guides carries through to today.
